Official Rules:

NO PURCHASE OR PLEDGE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. A PURCHASE OR PLEDGE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. VALID IN THE STATE OF TEXAS, UNLESS PROHIBITED BY LOCAL LAWS. VOID IN ALL OTHER STATES AND COUNTRIES. 

Eligibility: The KTSU Praise Nights @ UniverSoul Circus Contest is open to natural persons who are legal residents of the states of Texas and who are 13 years of age or older. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of KTSU or Texas Southern University, their immediate family members, and persons living in the same household are prohibited from entry.

Agreement to Official Rules: By entering the Contest, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Administrator, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Sponsor may disqualify any entrant which Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems to be out of compliance with these Official Rules.

How to Enter the Contest: To enter the Contest, visit the KTSU website at online at www.ktsuradio.com/universoul and follow all posted instructions, including your name, Church Name, Pastor’s Name, day & evening telephone numbers (including area code),  e-mail address and vote for which choir they want to participate (Youth of Mass) beginning May 20, 2018.  The Sweepstakes will end at 11:59PM CST on June 2, 2018 and all entries must be received by that time. Limit one (1) entry per person. Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, or late entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Sponsor. Sponsor’s computer system is the official time keeping device for the Contest. Entrants must provide their name, a valid phone number and email address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to enter using the same email address. Limit one entry per person during the sweepstakes. Participants with multiple entries may be disqualified.

Sponsor: The sponsor and administrator for the Contest is KTSU Radio 3100 Cleburne, Houston, Texas 77004.

Prize(s): 150 tickets to UniverSoul Circus for your Church Congregation valued at $3,300.00, Special Recognition for your Pastor and the opportunity for your Choir to perform at KTSU Praise Nights @ UniverSoul Circus.  The Youth Choir will perform on Sunday June 10th; the Mass Choir on Sunday June 17th.

THE PRIZES ARE AWARDED “AS IS” WITH ABSOLUTELY NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, FROM SPONSOR. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPONSOR DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES AND ANY PRIZE

Selection and Notification of Winner:  Winners will be selected by the most votes received for the Youth Choir and Mass Choir at the close of the Contest at 11:59PM CST on June 2, 2018. Winners will be notified by telephone or email at Sponsor’s discretion. The odds of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. The winner will be announced, on the KTSURADIO.com website and on the air at 90.9FM at the following time/date: June 3, 2018 by 9:00pm. Winner also will be notified by on-air announcements at the telephone number and/or email address provided on the Winner’s entry form. Winner’s failure to timely respond to notification, and/or Sponsor’s inability to reach a winner at the telephone, email and/or U.S. mail address listed on his or her entry form may result in disqualification and selection of a substitute winner. Winner may waive his or her right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed by Winner.

Publicity and Communication: Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, prize information, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media worldwide, without further payment or consideration. Submission of contact information in connection with this Contest (whether or not required), including mailing address, phone number, and email address during entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to add you to Sponsor’s customer database and to contact you in the future for promotional and other reasons. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Release of Liability: By participating in the Contest, all participants agree that KTSU, 90.9 FM Radio, and related organizations, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind which result from use of the Prize or by participation in the contest. Prize must be claimed by May 30. 2018. Unclaimed prizes may be disposed of in Sponsor’s discretion. Prize is nontransferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. The winner is responsible for paying all taxes, fees, and expenses outside of all-inclusive itemizations.

Results: For the name of the winners or for a copy of the Official Sweepstakes Rules, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope after the Sweepstakes Period to KTSU, 90.9FM, 3100 Cleburne, Houston, Texas 77004. Requests must be received by June 5, 2018.
