Smiles and light chatter filled the room at the 13th annual One Body Networking, Inc. (ONB)
9/11 Blood Drive Tour.

Founder of OBN, Janice Weaver, created the organization after she was diagnosed with
Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, or TTP, recognizing the significant impact blood donors
have on others’ lives.

“The most important part about this event is the ability for people to come out and donate blood.
I don’t know if you’re aware that one donor saves three lives. People who need blood are cancer
patients, heart patients, gunshot victims, stabbing victims,” Weaver said.

Recognizing 25 years since the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, OBN
held a special ceremony to acknowledge community leaders, students, and victims of 9/11.

The ceremony held space for and honored those who were affected by the attacks, including
Lolithea Davis, a member of Fallbrook Church. It was because of community efforts like this
that she is able to tell her story today.

“When someone has poured into you, then you pay it forward, and you give it back. It’s a great
honor to have an event like this to recognize, number one, those who were present at
9/11…myself, as a survivor,” Davis said.

Janice Weaver is leading the change in her community, honoring those who have made a
difference and providing life-changing resources to those who will do the same
