Vibe Sessions is officially back and better than ever. Powered by KTSU 90.9 FM, this intimate performance series has returned to bring the heart of Texas Southern University’s creativity to center stage. But this isn’t just a return—it’s a reinvention. The headline of this revival? The entire production is now fully executed by the talented ACCESS student cohort, proving that the future of media is in capable hands.

On November 18th, 2025, the cohort welcomed one of our very own ERIM students and music minor, Immanie, to the stage. And Ms. Immanie? Oh, she understood the assignment. She stepped up to the mic with confidence, creativity, and the talent of someone who knows she’s about to deliver. Her performance blended soul and a genuine passion for her craft that set the bar high for the season.

As our host Zay announced Immanie’s name, the energy shot up and the vibes began. You could immediately feel the love and support radiating from the audience. We can’t forget to mention Amber Anders on guitar and Michael Brooks on bass. Their talent and timing paired perfectly with Sam Ross on keys and Jaren McIntosh on drums, creating an atmosphere that made it impossible not to be captivated by their skill.

As the evening came to a close, it was clear The Vibe Sessions executed exactly what it promised: authentic artistry, culture, community, and a night filled with undeniable vibes. From the student production crew behind the cameras to the artists on the mic, this performance is a clear indication of what’s ahead. The return of Vibe Sessions is not just a comeback—it’s a new era.
