KTSU Hosts FLCRC Students for an Inspiring Media and Radio Station Tour

KTSU 90.9FM was honored to host students from the Family Life and Community Resource Center (FLCRC) for an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of our broadcast facility! 

As part of FLCRC’s 10th Annual Summer Enrichment Camp—themed “Discover Your Power: Leaders, Innovators, and World Changers”—campers explored dynamic careers across media and entertainment. Operations Manager Marcus Sullivan introduced students to the art of podcasting, while Recording Studio Manager Sinclair Ridley guided a hands-on walk-through of KTSU’s state-of-the-art recording studio. 

The youth even stepped into live broadcasting! Texas Radio Hall of Famer “Uncle Funky” Larry Jones welcomed them into his Jazz Sessions program, and The Day Party host Neshyba Lovelace invited campers onto the airwaves on The Vibe HD2. KTSU remains proud to partner with FLCRC in inspiring future leaders and opening doors for the next generation.
