KTSU Celebrates a Houston Legend: A Night Honoring Jazz Icon Bobby Lyle

On March 11th, the air crackled with the energy of celebration as KTSU 90.9 FM Radio Station proudly hosted a special 80th birthday party at the historic El Dorado Ballroom. The evening was dedicated to honoring Houston’s very own musical treasure, the award-winning pianist and organist, Bobby Lyle. 

Listeners from across the Houston community came together to pay tribute to Mr. Lyle’s illustrious career. As KTSU’s very own Donna Franklin eloquently emphasized on-air, it’s vital to recognize and celebrate the legends of music while they are still with us.
