Get to Know Your On-Air Hosts: September Spotlight is on Dunbezzy From the Big Easy!

KTSU is excited to introduce a new series highlighting our talented on-air hosts. We kick off the series with the dynamic Dunbezzy, host of The Happy Hour, Fridays 1-4pm!

Q: What inspired you to start your show? What motivates you to continue hosting each week?

Dubezzy: I was inspired to start  The Happy Hour because GOD  opened the door and I was given the opportunity to serve God’s 

people yet once again on a different platform. Donna Franklin saw something in me that I had never dreamed of or GOD had

not shown me yet but he positioned Donna to be the vessel to allow the vision to come to pass.

What makes me continue each week hosting The Happy Hour is that as an humble servant, humble and grateful the

 NEIGHBORHOOD (Members, listeners, family, and friends) show up every week and expect me to be there. I have a 

fiduciary duty to the NEIGHBORHOOD Friday after Friday. We have built a relationship and I have come to understand 

that it is just more than music, it’s about people serving people.

Q: What is something your audience would be surprised to learn about you?

Dunbezzy:  Something the NEIGHBORHOOD  would be surprised to learn about me is that  I LOVE TO COOK!

Q: Any closing thoughts/motivation for our readers and listeners?

Dunbezzy: Trust GOD all the time. I know life be LYFING but you have got to 

live and NOT exist. [Be the] Star in your own life. Do NOT dim your light to allow others to shine. Be BLESSED!!
