KTSU 90.9FM are teaming up with The City of League City and the League City Convention and Visitors Bureau to host a “Saturday Jazz Nights” concert and lectures series at League Park on February 24, March 23, and April 27 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Each concert—sponsored by Galveston Bay Brewing—will host a different live jazz music group, offering a new experience each time you attend. At each concert, attendees will be able to purchase food from various food trucks and beer and wine from Galveston Bay Brewery.
In addition to the free concerts, KTSU radio personality Todd Parker will host a one-hour lecture from 6 to 7 p.m. before each concert. The lectures will be held inside a League City building located across from the park and will provide insights into the different styles of jazz and individual jazz musicians. Each lecture costs $12, requires pre-registration, and will include a commemorative poster and swag bag.
Following each lecture, there will be a FREE concert at League Park featuring a different performer.
