Community Event: One Body Networking 13th Annual Blood Drive

Join One Body Networking, Inc. (OBN) as they celebrate 13 years of service and community impact with the annual OBN 911 Blood Drive Tour in partnership with Fallbrook Church and the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center!

Founded by, Janice Weaver, a survivor of a rare blood disorder (Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) to pay forward the life-saving plasma that kept her alive, OBN works to educate our communities—particularly African Americans—on the vital importance of blood donation. This year’s drive supports National Sickle Cell Awareness Month and honors the memory of Alvin Weaver, bringing critical awareness to ATTR Amyloidosis and health resources.

Event Highlights:

• Blood & Plasma Drive: Give the gift of life. Your donation directly impacts local patients in need across Houston and surrounding areas.
• Community Honors: Remembering valued community members Janyae Carmouche and Postal Worker Steven Marks.
• First Responder Recognition: Honoring HPD Law Enforcement Officers Devon Meachum & Kyle Green, Pct. 4 Constable Captain Jose Garza, and Veteran Eddie Tardy.
• Scholarship Presentation (10:00 AM): OBN has awarded over 100 scholarships to date and will present awards to 12 deserving local students during a special morning program.
