For more than 20 years, pianist Brad Mehldau has blazed an eclectic path through the innermost reaches of jazz exploration and innovative lyricism.. Making his first-ever appearance on Da Camera’s jazz stage, Mehldau comes to Houston with a view of jazz that continues to resonate in tradition; however, in doing what he does as a pianist, Brad takes you far beyond the norm with his creativity. Providing the backdrop for Brad’s visit to Houston are Larry Grenadier on bass and Jeff Ballard on drums.
